Time to Renew your Membership For 2026!
Memberships renewed now are good through 2026
A reminder to renew your membership for the coming year (or buy one for the first time if you are still just thinking about it!
Dues paying members have the opportunity to take part in Art Guild workshops, special programs, art fairs and exhibits.
Benefits of Membership include:
• Two All Members Shows: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter with public openings
• Annual Juried Art in the Park two day art fair
• Two-Day Holiday Art Fair (1st weekend in December, hosted by Cider Gallery)
• Discounted entry fees to members for Lawrence Art Guild shows
• Exclusive members exhibit opportunities at local partner venues
• Workshops and Lectures by member and guest speakers
The Lawrence Art Guild, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, promotes arts awareness in the Lawrence area and supports the creative growth of its members and artists. The Guild provides a presence on social media (Facebook, etc.), produces an e-newsletter, emails and flyers to promote Art Guild shows and art fairs.
Holiday Luncheon is this Month’s Meeting
There is NO Art Guild meeting in December - but we have our members’ Holiday Pot Luck instead. We will be sending out a survey soon to select the best date for the event.
Fall Workshops
We had two fantastic member workshops this fall.
Kim Brooks gave a very informative speech on applying for grants and residencies. She shared her experiences and how she has had a successful journey with her ceramics. 27 members attended this workshop presentation.
Liza McKennon gave lessons on how to make Sunflower ornaments for the LAG Festival of Trees entry for 2025. There were also mini canvases to paint on to add to the decorations.
Funding for our workshops is supported by your member dues.
Join us for the All Members Show Opening Final Friday, November 28
It’s time again for our Fall All Members’ Show, with this year’s work exhibited at The Cider Gallery. See work from each of the members of the Guild, and join us at the exhibit opening on Final Friday, November 28 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM to enjoy refreshments, cash bar, live music by Mire Pral, and buy art!

Join us for the LAG Holiday Art Fair on December 13 and 14
This annual show is a holiday tradition of the Lawrence Art Guild, and a favorite of our local attendees as an opportunity to shop for truly unique, handcrafted holiday gifts. Join us at the Cider Gallery on Saturday, December 13 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM or Sunday, December 14 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM to shop!
