Kaw Valley Farm Tour Artist Interest
The Kaw Valley Farm Tour is an annual self-guided agricultural tour designed to provide economic activity to small family farms and to educate the community about how food is produced. Now in its 22nd year, this year’s tour will be held October 3rd and 4th.
Each year more than 3000 people visit 30 farms across the NE Kansas region, most in Douglas and Johnson Counties. Besides common items like fresh meat and produce, visitors are also interested in purchasing ready to eat foods, non-perishable foods and art. Participating farms are looking for artists and food vendors to set up on their land to sell their items during this two day event. Visit the event website here
22 farms have expressed interest in hosting an artist at their farm during the weekend tour this year, October 3rd and 4th. If you would like to be placed on a list of interested artists please submit this form by September 1st. You will then receive an email with the contact information of the 22 farms so that you can reach out and see about showing your art. Farms will also be able to reach out to you.
