Phoenix Gallery’s exhibit of artists participating in Lawrence Art Guild’s Art in the Park will have an opening reception on Friday, August 29th, from 6 - 9:00 pm. The show will remain open at the Gallery through September 11th. Art in the Park will be held September 13th & 14th this year

Art in the Park is a Lawrence tradition dating back to 1964 and is the Lawrence Art Guild's premier fundraising event. Winning "Best Event in Lawrence" for 5 years as voted by the public in the "Best of Lawrence" contest, Art in the Park is a Lawrence favorite. 2025 will be our fifth year as a two day event with over 20,000 visitors expected. Fifteen musical groups create beautiful background music (keeping in mind volume for artists), and food vendors provide a wide variety of sweet and savory options.
