Maryam Hjersted is excited to present a sampling of works from her recent exhibition “On Learning to Paint: 4 Decades, 4 Mentors, 4 Mediums” at Black Stag Brewery. This collection of her work was influenced by 3 local master painters, and one international pastelist.  All brilliant and legendary teachers. The master painters are John Narum, Louis Copt, and John Hulsey and Anne Trusty. Elizabeth Mowry is the pastelist. The collection also included plein air paintings from traveling workshops and adventures.
