In her abstract landscape paintings, Mudd explores the intricate web of human relationships, experiences and our fragile connection to life on Earth. Guided by the patterns of satellite and drone imagery, maps and photographs, as well as the textures and rhythms of nature itself, her work traces the landscapes of memory, knowledge and presence. Luminous colors and layered, tactile materials reveal the unseen intersections between humanity’s past and our shared contemporary world —an invitation to pause, reflect and encounter the beauty and complexity of the life we inhabit.
